The Douglas County School District offers on-site, school-age childcare programs through the Before and After School Enterprise (BASE) for students ages five to thirteen. These programs provide a safe and enriching environment where children develop the skills and knowledge to make informed decisions about their social, emotional, and physical well-being. Emphasizing core values such as respect, integrity, honesty, and responsibility, BASE supports the holistic development of each child beyond the classroom.
